About this tool
Useful for delivery times, SLAs, contract deadlines and sprint planning. By default both dates are part of the period, and Saturdays and Sundays are days off.
Public holidays differ by country and change every year, so they are not built in. Add the dates you need to the exclusion field, for example from your government’s official calendar.
How to use
- Pick the start and end dates.
- Choose whether the start and end dates themselves count.
- Optionally paste a list of holidays in YYYY-MM-DD format.

Frequently asked questions
Are public holidays included?
No built-in holiday calendar is used. Add holiday dates to the exclusion field.
What if a holiday falls on a weekend?
It does not reduce the working day count — that day is off anyway. “Excluded days off” only counts weekdays.
Can I use a different weekend?
Not yet: the calculator uses a Monday-to-Friday week.
